Randy grew up in Atglen, Pennsylvania and planned to live there all his life. However, while attending Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois, he became interested in missions. One month after marriage, he and Melanie moved to Shell, Ecuador and served as short term missionaries by running the guest house. While there, he found out about the Nate Saint Memorial School and realized that God was calling him to teach there.
Randy is in his sixth year of teaching at NSMS. His desire to see his students be successful in life. To this end, he strives to help them grow academically, socially, and spiritually. He teaches all subjects (Bible, Math, Social Studies, Science, Language, Literature, Art, and Physical Education) to the middle schoolers. The students can be thankful that he doesn't teach Spanish--he has enough trouble with that himself.
How you can pray for Randy...
That he would grow in his relationship with Christ
That he would be a loving husband and father
That he would have wisdom and creativity in teaching his students
