Natalie joined our family in January 2003. She arrived at Hospital Vozandes del Oriente (HCJB World Radio's mission hospital in Shell) when she was one-year-old. Malnourished, she weighed only 9 1/2 lbs. and was covered with scabies. Her grandparents had been caring for her, but they realized that they couldn't provide for her needs (they had eight children of their own and one on the way). We decided to adopt her, and after two years of paperwork, she is finally ours!.

Natalie is very loving and compassionate. She likes to swim and go to kingergarten.
